Patient Condition Information Release Policy Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton takes seriously its responsibility for protecting patients' medical information. We value our patients confidentiality and it is hospital policy that a patient’s condition remain private. To that fact, RWJ Hamilton will not release any information about the condition of our patients. Any member of the media in need of information regarding a patient’s condition will be directed to the Public Relations Department, where this policy will be recited and adhered to.

RWJ Hamilton's policy honors the strict guidelines enforced by the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This policy is strictly enforced by all RWJ Hamilton employees. Download our Notice of Privacy Practices.
