RWJ Hamilton Young Professionals Group Offers "Toast to the Season"
Foundation-Sponsored Social to Support Hearts Apart, Maternity Bereavement Support Program

HAMILTON, NEW JERSEY - The Young Professionals Group of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJ Hamilton) Foundation is holding a “Toast to the Season" social event on Tuesday, November 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Katmandu, Route 29, Trenton. The $25 per person event includes hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and a cash bar. All proceeds raised will benefit Hearts Apart, the maternity bereavement program at RWJ Hamilton.

Hearts Apart Offers Bereavement Support to Families Suffering the Loss of a Baby
Hearts Apart brings together a voluntary group of highly committed healthcare professionals who provide round-the-clock support to families delivering on the maternity unit at RWJ Hamilton who suffer a miscarriage, still-birth or the sudden death of an infant.

The funds raised at the "Toast to the Season" event will enable Hearts Apart to:

• Offer maternity nurses highly specialized training in bereavement support;
• Enhance bereavement support resources for grieving family members;
• Purchase memory boxes for all parents experiencing this tremendous loss

Young Professionals Group Reaches Out to Up and Coming Area Leaders

RWJ Hamilton's Young Professionals Group, chaired by William Rue, Jr., of Rue Insurance, provides opportunities for young leaders in the community to participate in the governing structure of the hospital and to serve as a resource to the hospital's leadership through involvement on various committees. “We are happy to come together at this time of year, meet new friends, raise our glasses to toast the season and provide support for this vital program," says Rue. “We are also grateful to Sean’s Landscaping, our presenting sponsor, for helping make this event possible."
