The Lakefront Tower was built to accommodate the growing healthcare needs of greater Mercer County. The four-story building, which broke ground
in October 2005, includes 64 private patient rooms that have been designed to maximize exposure to sunlight, incorporate elements of nature and
promote healing.
The auxiliary assists the RWJ Hamilton Foundation in fundraising efforts that benefit patient care initiatives in the hospital and at The Cancer Institute
of New Jersey Hamilton, which is located on the RWJ Hamilton campus. The auxiliary raises funds through several means including plant sales, flea
markets and events. Auxiliary members are also required to serve the hospital as volunteers.
