CINJ Hamilton

Pauline Lerma, M.D.
Medical Director, Breast Consultation Program

Pauline Lerma, MD, board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, serves as the medical director of the breast consultation program based at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Hamilton (CINJ Hamilton), a position she assumed in 2008. Her interests include breast cancer and hematologic malignancies.

Dr. Lerma is an assistant professor of medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey–RobertWood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.

Dr. Lerma received her medical degree and bachelor’s degree from the University of the Philippines. She completed her medical internship and residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA. She completed fellowships in hematology and oncology as well as bone marrow transplant at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining CINJ Hamilton in 2004, Dr. Lerma was assistant professor of medicine at MCP–Hahnemann/Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.

She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
