Michael G. McKenna, M.D.
Director, Radiation Oncology

Michael McKenna, MD, board certified in radiation oncology since 1993, serves as the director of radiation oncology at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Hamilton (CINJ Hamilton), a position he assumed in 2003. His specialties include prostate IMRT, breast cancer and head and neck cancer.

Dr. McKenna received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester and his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Dr. McKenna completed his internship in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Prior to his appointment at CINJ Hamilton, Dr. McKenna worked in the University of Pennsylvania Health System for 10 years, most recently serving as the chief radiation oncologist at the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA.

He is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
