RWJ Hamilton Appoints Kerry O'Donnell Executive Director, Maternal Child Health Services

HAMILTON – Kerry M. O'Donnell, RNC, BSN, has been named Executive Director, Maternal Child Health Services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. O'Donnell oversees patient care in RWJ Hamilton's labor and delivery unit, Level II Special Care Nursery and postpartum unit, in addition to three hospital-owned OB/GYN medical practices in Hamilton and Lawrence, New Jersey.

O'Donnell was most recently Director of Nursing for Maternal Child Health Services at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She was previously employed by The University Medical Center at Princeton in Princeton, New Jersey as Administrative Coordinator and a staff nurse.

A certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program instructor and neonatal bereavement counselor, O'Donnell also holds certifications in inpatient obstetrics and advanced cardiac life support. She earned a B.S in Nursing from the University of Delaware where she is currently enrolled in the master's program in nursing.

O'Donnell is a board member of the Central New Jersey Maternal Child Health Consortium and a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Organization of Nurse Executives, New Jersey League for Nursing, Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She resides in Hamilton Square, New Jersey.
