President and CEO Ellen Guarnieri leads employees in first wellness walk of the season
6/6/07
Steppin' Out...Led by President and CEO Ellen Guarnieri (center), a team of employees at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJ Hamilton)
'step out' for their first wellness walk of the season. Just one of many activities sponsored by the hospital's Employee Wellness
Program, the walkers meet several times each week for a healthy stroll on the walking paths surrounding the 67-acre campus.
The hospital recently received the Start! Fit Friendly Gold Award from the American Heart Association in recognition of their efforts to
promote a wellness culture for employees, support physical activity and offer healthy eating options at work. RWJ Hamilton encourages
employee wellness by offering worksite health screenings, fitness and stress management programs, wellness benefits and incentives, weekly
healthy food options, nutrition information and even chair massage.
