The Cancer Institute of New Jersey Hamilton Receives Donation for Educational Materials
Group of Independent Longaberger Basket Consultants Presents Funds Raised During Annual "Night of Hope" Event

HAMILTON, NEW JERSEY – The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Foundation was recently presented with a $4,500 donation from a group of independent consultants representing the Longaberger Company, for The Cancer Institute of New Jersey Hamilton (CINJ-H).

The donation was raised during Longaberger’s annual Night of Hope event, which raises awareness on the disease as well as funds to support breast cancer survivors and caregivers. A group of nine Longaberger consultants raised funds by hosting its third annual Night of Hope event. The evening is dedicated to raising awareness and funds that support breast cancer survivors and caregivers.
CINJ-H will use the donation to purchase patient education materials. These new materials, written in English and Spanish, will cover every aspect of breast health and education. The materials will be available to patients of CINJ-H and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
The Longaberger Company is makes handcrafted baskets and offers other home and lifestyle products. The company has tens of thousands of independent home consultants located in all U.S. states who sell Longaberger products directly to customers. Longaberger sells a special basket during the company's annual Horizon of Hope Campaign and donates $2 from the sale of each to the American Cancer Society. The baskets contain educational information, including guidelines on regular mammograms and breast exams. More than three million Horizon of Hope Baskets have been purchased since 1995.
